Always Lalisa Release Date, IMAX Tickets & LISA Vegas Show Dates 2026

If you searched "lisa" this week, you are probably asking one of two things: when can I watch Always Lalisa, and can I still get into her Las Vegas shows? Short answer: the documentary opens in IMAX and regular cinemas from October 12, 2026, for a limited run, and the Viva La Lisa residency plays six nights at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in November.

Below you will find the confirmed dates, how to find a screening near you, what the film actually covers, the Vegas schedule and how tickets work, plus the scams to avoid. Every date here comes from the distributor, the venue, Ticketmaster or major entertainment outlets. Where something has not been announced, we say so.

At a Glance

Always Lalisa opens in IMAX and cinemas worldwide from October 12, 2026, as a limited engagement. Tickets and cinema listings are on AlwaysLaLisa.com.
It runs about 97 minutes (the Toronto International Film Festival listing). Later it streams only on YouTube Premium, with no exact date announced yet.
Viva La Lisa plays The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on November 12, 13, 14, 27, 28 and 29, 2026, all at 8:00 PM local time.
Vegas tickets are sold through Ticketmaster. The first four shows sold out in under 10 minutes, so expect very few seats.
Buy only from official sellers. Screenshots and "spare tickets" on social media are the most common scam.

What Is Always Lalisa?

Always Lalisa is a feature documentary about LISA, the BLACKPINK member who is also a solo singer, rapper and actor. It was directed by Sue Kim, whose earlier film The Last of the Sea Women was about Jeju Island's haenyeo (해녀, women free divers).

The story covers one year. For the first time since she was a child, LISA steps away from BLACKPINK and works on her own, according to Sony Music Vision, the company that produced the film. The four members agreed to take a year apart for solo work, and the cameras follow LISA through that year.

What you will see on screen, based on the official synopsis and press coverage:

Writing, recording and releasing her first solo album, Alter Ego (2025).
Her acting debut in season 3 of HBO's The White Lotus.
Getting ready for her first big solo set at Coachella 2025.
Her roots in Thailand. She left home at 14 to train in South Korea's K-pop system.
The pressure of building a solo career in the Western music market.

One useful detail for fans: BLACKPINK appears in the film, but the focus stays on LISA's life outside the group. The Hollywood Reporter notes the film ends with her return to Korea to prepare for BLACKPINK's world tour.

The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on September 11, 2026, in the Gala program. It is in English, Thai and Korean, according to TIFF.

Always Lalisa Release Date and How Long It Plays

The worldwide opening date is October 12, 2026. That comes straight from Sony Music Vision's announcement on September 2. Trafalgar Releasing, a company that specializes in event screenings such as concert films, handles the theatrical release.

Here is the part people miss. This is a limited engagement, which means a short run with a small number of screenings, not a normal release that stays in theaters for weeks. IMAX titles its own page "Always LaLisa in IMAX - October 12 & 14," and cinema listings we checked show screenings on October 12 and 14, with some theaters adding October 17. Your local cinema decides the exact days and times.

So if you want to see it on a big screen, do not wait for "next weekend." Check listings now.

Runtime. TIFF lists the film at 97 minutes. Some cinema listings show 100 minutes, which may include extra time on the schedule. Plan for roughly an hour and 40 minutes in the seat.

Rating. The cinema listings we saw show the rating as "TBC" (to be confirmed). If you are bringing younger fans, check your local rating before you buy.

Where to Watch Always Lalisa: IMAX, Regular Cinemas or Streaming

You have three ways to watch, and each one has a different timeline.

Option	When	How to get in
IMAX screening	From October 12, 2026 (limited dates)	Find a theater on AlwaysLaLisa.com, then buy from that cinema
Regular cinema	From October 12, 2026 (limited dates)	Same: listings on AlwaysLaLisa.com
YouTube Premium	"Later this year" (2026), date not announced yet	Paid YouTube Premium membership

IMAX is a large-format theater with a bigger screen and stronger sound. For a film full of stage performance, it is the version many fans pick. IMAX seats are limited, so they tend to go first.

Which countries? Sony Music Vision says "worldwide." Box office database The Numbers lists October 12 openings in the US, Australia, Mexico, Italy, Brazil and New Zealand. We could not find a confirmed listing for theaters in South Korea when we checked, so readers in Korea should search the official site for their city before planning.

Streaming. After cinemas, Always Lalisa will stream exclusively on YouTube Premium. "Exclusively" means you will not find it on Netflix or other services. No streaming date has been announced yet.

How to Buy Always Lalisa Tickets, Step by Step

Go to AlwaysLaLisa.com, the official site. Tickets went on sale there on September 9, 2026.
Enter your city or allow location. The site lists nearby theaters with showtimes. Many US screenings we saw start at 7:00 PM.
Pick a screening and check the format label: "IMAX" or "Standard 2D."
Complete the purchase on the cinema's own booking page.
Save the confirmation email and the cinema app ticket.

Price. No single price has been announced. Each cinema sets its own price, and IMAX usually costs more than a standard screen. You will see the exact amount at checkout.

Viva La Lisa: The Las Vegas Residency

A residency is a series of shows at one venue, instead of a tour that moves city to city. Las Vegas residencies are a big deal in the US music business, and Viva La Lisa is the first one by a K-pop artist, according to Caesars Entertainment.

The plan grew in two steps. On March 30, 2026, Caesars announced four shows: November 13, 14, 27 and 28. Those sold out in under 10 minutes. On September 29, Caesars added November 12 and November 29, making six shows in total.

That is why you may still see "four shows" on some pages, including the Sony Music Vision film announcement from early September and a Ticketmaster help page. The newer Caesars release and Ticketmaster's event listing both show all six dates.

Date (2026)	Day	Time	Venue	Status
November 12	Thursday	8:00 PM PT	The Colosseum at Caesars Palace	Added Sept 29
November 13	Friday	8:00 PM PT	The Colosseum at Caesars Palace	Original date
November 14	Saturday	8:00 PM PT	The Colosseum at Caesars Palace	Original date
November 27	Friday	8:00 PM PT	The Colosseum at Caesars Palace	Original date
November 28	Saturday	8:00 PM PT	The Colosseum at Caesars Palace	Original date
November 29	Sunday	8:00 PM PT	The Colosseum at Caesars Palace	Added Sept 29

PT means Pacific Time, the Las Vegas time zone. If you are checking from Asia or Europe, convert before you set reminders.

The venue. The Colosseum seats about 4,300 people, according to Caesars. That is small for an artist who fills stadiums with BLACKPINK, which explains how fast seats disappear. Caesars Palace is at 3570 Las Vegas Boulevard South, in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip.

What she might perform. No setlist has been announced. LISA told The Hollywood Reporter she will perform her new single "SaWaDiKa," "and many more," at the residency. Her EP Press Play comes out on October 23, 2026, a few weeks before the first show.

Viva La Lisa Tickets: How They Work

Ticketmaster is the official seller. Both Caesars press releases point fans to ticketmaster.com. General sale for the two added dates began on September 30, 2026, at 10 a.m. PT.

A few rules from Ticketmaster's event help page are worth knowing before you pay:

Mobile entry. Your phone is your ticket. Download the Ticketmaster app and add the ticket to your phone wallet before you leave the hotel, because casino Wi-Fi and cell signal can be weak.
Ticket limits. Ticketmaster says it can cancel orders that go over the posted limit.
VIP packages. LISA offers several VIP options on Ticketmaster. Package items can change, and VIP extras do not transfer with the ticket.
Age rules. "Age restrictions may apply," Ticketmaster says. Check with the venue before you book for a child.

Price. The official announcements do not list face-value prices. The live price appears on Ticketmaster when you pick a seat. Prices you see on resale websites are set by sellers, not by the artist or venue, and can be several times higher.

If you are also thinking about seeing K-pop live in Korea, the system there is different. Our guide to buying K-pop concert tickets in Korea as a foreigner covers how Korean ticket sites work.

Cautions: Resale and Scam Tickets

High demand plus small venues is exactly where ticket scams grow. Here is what to watch for.

"Spare ticket" posts on social media. A seller asks for payment by bank transfer or a payment app with no buyer protection, then disappears. Do not pay strangers this way.
Screenshots or PDFs. Mobile entry tickets are tied to an account. A screenshot of a barcode is not a valid ticket for this event.
Look-alike websites. Search ads can lead to sites with "LISA" or "Caesars" in the name that are not official. Type ticketmaster.com yourself, and for the film, start at AlwaysLaLisa.com.
Fake film tickets. Cinema tickets come from the cinema. Nobody needs to sell you an "Always Lalisa pass" through direct messages.
Prices far below or far above normal. Very cheap often means fake. Very expensive often means a reseller with no link to the show.

If you buy resale, use the official channel only. If you cannot get a seat, the film is the more realistic way to see LISA on a big screen this fall.
